I was wandering if anyone could teach me how to set up a Minecraft Beta server, or if you had a good tutorial to link me to?
--Also wandering if you could teach me how to install mods/plug-ins onto the server... thanks :D
*wanting to make one because i have a few friends at school that want to play..
*i also know how to forward ports

Well if you want mods and plugins, bukkit server software is the best way to go and i believe that is what Hawknet runs for its beta server i have previously used it and it is very good.
