The problem may be due to the server, Hawknet Freebuild was recently updated to a new software called Hawk Serv. So there could be problems with that which zion may resolve as the software goes through updates.

There's an unknown issue which prevents users from connecting, ir just shows "Connecting..." and doesn't do anything after that. When looking at the console there are sometimes a few users still connected, no errors by 'PigeonLogger' (error reporting system in HawkServ) and there seems to be a tonne of level saves for a single level, so i'm not quite sure what's causing the issue.

I have also had this problem ever since Purging my system of a virus and accidentally deleting a portion of the driver but I've had no other problems.
What happens is it'll say connecting and then my browser crashes. I am also seeking reccomadtion on what to do next...

I'm starting to think that this could be caused by Minecraft.net having its occasional downtime at this time of day. Unfortunatly if this is the case, there is nothing that i can do about it.

The best way to connect, is to use the WoM client, and hit the Resume button if Hawknet Freebuild was the last server you visited.

What is this 'WoM client' you're referring to. I honestly don't have a clue.
