I think the addition of infection would be a huge plus to Hawknet. For those of you that do not know what the game Infection is: Infection is a survival type game where the last player standing wins. At the beginning, one player is randomly selected to be "it". This player then has to tag other players. Every player tagged is than also "it" and has to tag everyone else. You are allowed to build bases and traps. Also no WoM is allowed. It is a very common command on most McStorm and McForge servers. Feedback please. ^^

I agree, I would definitely like to see infection in Hawknet.

I've played a similar game on WC3 called "The Thing"
1 player out of how many people playing is The Thing The Thing looks like a normal player and has to kill everyone very subtly. The Thing can transform into any player The Thing can be killed Killing an ally will result in only your death In order to kill The Thing, you have to inject it with some poison of sorts (You obviously can't in Minecraft so you'll probably just have to shoot him a bunch) You can inject players with some sort of thing that reacts a special way if you are normal. If you are the thing then it will react in a way that tells you he is The Thing (Once again you can't do that in Minecraft so you'll probably use commands) You have a total of 2 in the game. When The Thing talks, he has the option to speak as The Thing or a player Once a player dies, he cannot chat.
I reckon these rules would also be good for Infection

The game sounds a lot like WC3's The creature...

Lol. In the creature, does the creature die when he goes into the snow?

Although this is a great idea (I used to love playing these types of game on Counter-Strike: Source), it would take a lot of coding to complete, and at least 1 Beta account registration to make it super awesome (the beta account holds an 'infected' skin, and your nickname is spoofed to the beta account to apply the skin to you).
If you could find a system of this that has already been coded (by a third party, or another open source server) I could look into implementing it into HawkServ.
Also, /moved to HawkServ suggestions since it's more software based, than server based. :3
