What do you think guys? Will the 1.8 Update ruin your whole Minecraft playing experience, or will you enjoy the new features?

My only Minecraft playing experience is to do with Classic now. I very rarely play Beta. You could say that I only bought the thing for the skin.

- A new glass-like block. It's very thin.
- A very scary, dark mob named "Enderman". It's purpose is unknown, but it's holding a block.
- Hunger bar.
- Cooked chicken; raw chicken.
- Farmable melons and pumpkins.
- New achievement for shooting a skeleton from 50 meters away.
- Iron reeds. (Name unofficial.) - New bricks. (Name unofficial.(Stone, mossy, and cracked.))
- Chargeable bows.
- Critical hits.
- NPC villages.
- A new mob. (A very "scary" one! (A boss, possibly? Maybe the silverfish?))
- Different style dungeons.
- More complex combat.
- More unique farming.
- New mossy cobblestone texture.
- A moderator on a survival server can play as if they were in creative. (1.9?)
- New lighting.
- More unique and interesting world generation.
- Gamma slider. - Big mushrooms.
- Underground ravines. Mystery bar. {Stamina? Armor? Fear? Experience? Oxygen?}
- Server list GUI.
- A way to win.
- Moon shooting achievement.
- Mini-Quests.
- Small animals. (Baby wolves.)
- Poison.
- A block that stops fall damage.
- Silverfish boss.
- Sprinting.
- New launcher.
- Food in buckets / stacked food. - Secret stuff. [Picture]
- Experience orb. (Possibly part of the "potions" ordeal)
- Sheep will regenerate wool. (1.9?)
1.8 is going to definitely change Minecraft.

Ammar seems more like possible changes, all that ik is confermed is food bar, enderman(moves blocks, only attacks when looked at, teleports, all out creepy), new lighting, and the new foods.

From that list (Which is probably ripped from minecraftwiki.net) I can 100% tell you there that this is just becoming a copy of Terraria...
Go through that list and name all the things that Terraria has. I found 10...

Haza wrote: The Enderman reminds me of the 'Weeping Angels' from Doctor Who. stare at them and go back in time or have one go inside your head. Look away see a sword with blood at the end in the middle of you screen that would be epic

I just can't see what people like about it. Minecraft was made to be a game where you need Imagination. I've talked to a couple of people about the Update, and about 70% said that the 1.8 Update will ruin the whole game... I personally am with the 70%...
