Hai guys. Jam here and I would like to have your opinion on something. Knowing that it's hard to tell if somethings a block harvest without breaking into the build I think that all ops should be able to have access to noclip. That way, its easier for ops to do their jobs and also prevents abuse of the ability from anyone lower than op rank. Thanks.

Right now if you have the right version, anyone can use noclip. And I believe ops do have noclip already.

Well.. its hard to find that "right version" and from what I know, Dmason doesn't have access to noclip.

we don't exactly like it when non-ops have noclip as it allows them to escape from op materials d: it's not too big of a deal but it's there.

The WoM client supports noclipping, and listens for a series of strings in a server's MOTD (+hax, +noclip, -fly etc). Due to the very very poor way WoM listens for these, they will only take effect in the latest version of WoM (2.0.7 as of writing). People with lesser versions of WoM get all the features, regardless of the server's MOTD strings.

Because of this, it is pointless to add more to the MOTD when it would only work for 20% of the userbase.

I find if I /b the outside areas and see if its more then one deep on all sides helps me find if its blockharvest jam. And if I cant find out ill wait till someone with noclip comes on and ask them for help.

As far as I know, Dmason doesn't use the Wom client as noclip is a WoM client feature. This would explain why he couldn't use noclip.

I use wom however mine is the newest version, thus zion already explained why no clip for me doesn't work.
