Sooo.... I'm not honestly real sure where to start. it's late at night so i may sound a little confusing, but whatever. my dad's done everything POSSIBLE except reinstall windows, which would delete everything I don't backup... classic just wont run on my computer. an error pops up and it doesn't let me on. I haven't tried any other servers, but Hawknet runs on other computers so im assuming it's just my computer. Basically what im asking here is suggestions, advice, and comments and just plain help with my problem, It's been so long since ive been able to play the Freebuild without having to worry about stealing my sister or dad's computer. Ill probably come back and edit this cause as I said im extremely tired...

Without you giving us the error, all i can suggest is that you reinstall java http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp Or you could try wom (which downloads a fresh copy of minecraft.jar on first start). I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along if you don't get it working

Re download WOM or
Update your sound and graphics cards (just download game booster which tweaks the sound and graphic cards and it's all safe i use it) or
Call up an IT guy to repartition your drive and reinstall a copy of windows on the separate drive (can't be bothered to type how to since it's a long process) or
Let him reinstall windows but put all your important stuff on a USB and put it back on the PC when he's done it
