How to apply the image to your signature

For a self created image:

Upload your image to an image hosting website, such as imgur.com or imageshack.us.
Once your image has been uploaded, copy and paste the DIRECT LINK url into [img] tags within the signature area on your User Control Panel. IE:

[img]http://imgur.com/randomimage.jpg[/img]
Hit submit, and enjoy.
Notes:

The image width must be no more than 768 pixels.
The image height is unlimited, although try to keep it small. No more than 256px. Large images may be removed at an operators discretion.

For an image linked here or on another website:

Right click the image of your choice, and select 'Copy Image Location'.
Follow the steps above to insert the image into your signature.
Same rules apply, not too wide, and not too high. Foul images may be removed, and you will face the consequences depending on severity of the image. (nudity = instant ban, drugs etc = 1-3 warnings)

Edit: I've just altered the size in which you caan use for signatures, due to me having to remove a few giagantic ones recently. The new dimensions are: 768px wide by 64 128px high. Please make sure your new signatures match these dimensions, otherwise you won't be able to set them.

is it possible for the height to be 100 or 150 at most

I hate to be "That Noob" but how exactly do you set it as your sig?

Go to your User Control Panel where the button is located at the very top right of the screen, under the forums' tab.

From there, select 'Your Signature' from the list on the left, and edit your signature there. To add images to your signature, encase the URL with image tags, example:



Hit submit (or preview to preview your signature) and it will be applied to the bottom of all your posts. ^^
