Life is relative to those who live it.

I would honestly love to have a serious conversation about a lot of this. This stuff intrigues me.
However I'm still unsure if others will not just find it boring or be cracking jokes the entire time.

What is "Life", how do you define "Life".

Is life about survival, family, romance, pleasure, fun, wealth or power. Is there a purpose to life. We dont know. We act & describe "Life" in our own ways but is there a true purpose to it and are we living it wrong.

Life is all about happiness. Pursue things that truly make you happy, but first distance yourself from the things that only give you false happiness. If love gives you happiness, pursue it. If helping people makes you happy, do that. Make a purpose for yourself and don't rely on other people to give you that purpose.

we really don't know anything, since existing is being. which, assassin, is "are-ing" (making new words). we can't begin to grasp the concept of time or anything.

on to the concept of time: time does exist but it does not move nor differ, merely everything around it changes, forcing all to believe that something must have changed. So, time is what we base that change off of, because according to the reality the common man accepts everything must have a reason. Time is a reason that has been created to explain things that appear cyclical. Although nothing can be cyclical for noone has seen the beggining nor the end. Overall, time, life, reality itself is all a perception. The normal reality that it seems most people share is what is believed to be normal. But there is no normality, nor can there be sanity, for who can say that so-called insanity, is not the true reality, and that we are all living the "insane" reality. I could talk to you about this for hours and force you to question all that might exist. Or i could explain quantum physics to you and make you believe that anything could happen at any time any place, and for any reason. Nothing has an explanation, and that is what drives us to seek impossible answers. This is what makes us alive.
-welcome to my world

you must be you. No two people can be truly identical. The day we lose individuality is the day all hope is lost. Strive to be different, strive to help, strive to not injure, and strive to stay true to who you are. Hope mustn't disappear.

If you can dogde Bullets then yes. Life is real but let me ask you this.
What is real How we define real.
If you mean something we can see, touch, smell. Then real is just an electronic signal inerpted by your brain.
If it's not real. THE MIND MAKES IT REAL.

As people have said life is how we live it, we have opertunities to choose infinitly diverging possibilities. What makes us different from animals is that we have strong cognative capabilities and have the ability to do or dont, we dont just depend on the drive to survive we also go on pleasure and purpose. Whats proof we are alive? Well take a pin and * your fingure, your heart pumps, your cells are functioning, therefore you are alive. So the question really is what is different from functioning and living. I can tell you I'm living and an ant is functioning. It has a drive to survive and so do I. It has a set purpose and so can I. So what is the difference? I see it as this I can vary from the function of a body to breaking the normal and wasting energy or serving no purpose.

This is the view I put forward, I dont actually believe a word but its logical and its for the sake of the debate :)

If the definition of life is what someone makes it, the definition of life is not set so therefore whatever you make it isn't the definition of life. The set definition of life is The condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.

Aye, whether or not life really does exist, instead of living it some decide to spend their time thinking about it. Not that this is bad, we would lose out on some big theorists if people didn't think about it, but life is a much more enjoyable experience if you don't worry about large impossible questions like this. assuming that by life, you mean it on a psychological/mental level, not physical.

The sentence below is false.
The sentence above is true.

Lol this just means that the sentence2 is agreeing with sentence1, therefore sentence 2 is false.

Interesting interpretation, but as I stated it is a paradox, and a very old one at that. It's an impossible statement or question that has no answer. Use them to outsmart artificial intelligence. :D

Simple. I'd go left because 'This left feels right' is the name of a Bon Jovi album and I like Bon Jovi.

Crafty I bet I can make your head explode a little more.

Life is merely the existence of semi-sentient consciousness manifesting in the form of the world as you see it. Your body is just the way your consciousness symbolizes itself to "fit in" with everyone else. Humanity is the accepted from of this manifestation that is the "normal median". Animals, plants and the like are lesser developed pockets of consciousness that we see as lesser beings. Dreams are the window through which we look into other consciousness for a finite period of time, they are not sub-conscious flights of fancy in your own mind, they are your mind stretching across the universe. While the fact of intelligent life outside of our own small bubble of mental power (earth), our consciousness can extend far beyond the out reaches of our own mind, into the lives of others. Furthermore the passage of time is our mind's comprehension and organization of events we have experienced.

How's that?
