This coming weekend (14/01/2012 - 15/01/2012) there will be a scheduled maintenance period for approximately one hour during of which we will be changing our webserver software.
For this time, all Hawknet Computing services may be offline, including services hosted under Hawknet's name. The reasons for this is due to software forcefully binding ports which need to be released to be taken over by the other program. For this to happen, the server needs to be restarted. The restart should only take a few minutes, after which the SMP and Classic servers can come back online, however forums and websites will remain offline until the webserver has changes, and tests have been completed.
Hopefully this process shouldn't take more than an hour, and it will not effect the game servers other than the initial restart.
The time and day is currently unknown, but it will be announced in all services (forums shoutbox included) a few hours before, to give everyone a chance to see it.
We hope you enjoy our services for the time being, and we'll see you on the other side after the change. ^^

I object!! D: I can't go an hour with no hawknet... How will I entertain myself!? D: Imagine the boredom... Slowly... killing... me... ITS TORTURE!!! Plus I won't have anyone to talk to! and who will be tehre to complain about how I say im bored!? WHYYYY!!?!

We can still play Minecraft, just not go on forums. Plus that would probably be during the day in Zions time zone so I'll be asleep during the offline period

The maintenance has been completed. All has gone well, but I'll need to keep adding features to things, so sometimes the websites will be offline while things are completed. Hopefully, these downtimes should not last more than a few seconds, so it may not cause any impact at all.
