This thread will be dedicated to something similar to the Never Ending Story, of except for a few things:

-The story will have a decided theme, locations, plot, etc.
-All posts must use good grammar and spelling.
-Posts outside of the plot will be ignored.

Basically, anything that is On topic, goes with the rest of the story, and makes sense would be considered. If you don't have anything good to add it is recommended you don't post it. I am looking for only good additions to the story.

This is just the planning stage. Nothing is final until we begin on the actually story.

Is it going to be the main character's point of view, or a narrator?

I have an idea. We could have a group of people be the characters in the story. Each with a personality that they have to follow. They could do/say what they want as long as it fits the story and their personality. And have the rest of us narrate it and do the rest of the story. This could work especially well in a mystery theme.

@Ammar, characters point of view.
@Hardscope, I want to let this develop a bit more first. It's not a bad idea and I'll think about it

Here's one with a pretty dark theme to it (hopefully not to much :oops: ). Obviously all parts (or none) would be used in it. But it could still help think of new ideas.
_____________________________________________________________________________

Genre- Horror (It could be many more but I think this fits best.)

Main Character- Professor Jonathan Dashwood

Side Characters- Project [searching for name], Ariadne Jacobson, Ethan Greene (Also some minor characters)

Main Location- Jonathan Dashwood's home in rural Connecticut, Yale University

Backround/Setting -1950- Professor Jonathan Dashwood (age 45) teaches Psychology at Yale University. All aspects of his life he is content with. He has a nice house, he enjoys his job etc. Although he has dark thoughts. He has always wanted to test human's minds in ways the law does not let him. So, he has decided to conduct an experiment and record it in a notebook titled "Project [searching for name]" He plans on taking a small child and raising him with absolutely no social contact. He plans on using a small, 10x10 room in his basement.

Plot- Shows experiments he conducts. Then, Ariadne and Ethan find this notebook in his desk at Yale. They decide to investigate. They go to the house multiple times to search. He finds the two there one time, (the house is very large and they are hiding/chasing eachother) The two eventually find the subject, now 23. They manage to escape with the notebook and the subject. The professor is arrested. Although the subject of the experiment was saved, there is very little hope for them because they have never had contact with the outside world...
