Oh and my cooler came in today, and its been keeping it ice cool all day (92c at full load )

92 degrees Celsius at full load? Are you sure it's not a heater?

My system never gets above 40C, case temp, and the hottest part is my graphics cards, both topping out at around 70C.

Considering it was getting up to 100c, this is a huge improvement, the plastic near the fan vent actually started to break off due to the intense heat. It does make a great lap warmer though ^^b

Yeah i thought i was getting false readings at first

As it turns out, 100 degrees Celsius is completely normal for this system, auto shut off is around 105c.

Also, i was thinking about adding a new Hawk-Note ideas topic, where you could post your ideas for each episode, It would be a heck of a lot easier than coming up with each and every idea by myself. I'm really wanting to shift towards a funny series now, even if i have to do a little sentence-mixing.

Soichiro yagami skin added by me, its extremely hard to make his face look right with his mustache in-tact, so I'm open to edits.

Edit: Aizawa skin added, its the worst of the bunch though, an afro is nearly impossible to make and i can't get his facial expression right. The suit is perfect though.

I haven't given up this project, I'm still patiently waiting for the hawknet beta server to be updated. I need a few features 1.0.0 provides, namely mouse smoothing and increased performance. I would start building now, but the 1.8 maps will likely be swapped for fresh 1.0.0 maps when the server updates.

Don't get me wrong, i hate waiting, but all that work would be for nothing if the maps will be deleted anyway.

As i said on one of the topics Zion could use a non-official build for the 1.0.0 like 1575...

1575 isn't a recommended build and most plugins probably won't work with it.

Erm that's what i've said it's not reccomended, but it's a successful build!

I changed the hawknote logo and added a little flare, this is the logo that would come directly after the opening. I also changed the song from nears theme, to RPTN: Crossfire.

This is only the last 8 seconds of a 20-30 second opening, but tell me what you think of the new logo.

I have the disclaimer screen done, and no i didn't use my voice. I do have a mic, but it isn't made for recording high quality voices.

This will sound stupid, but i actually used voices from http://www.acapela-group.com, and i added a voice filter effect to make it sound like he's using L's voice filter, and believe it or not, it actually came out alright But keep in mind, it doesn't have to sound good



Both the hawknet logo, and the disclaimer screen were rendered for a quick upload, they will look better in the full opening.

Needs a bit of mixing. The music is a nice touch, however can be considered too loud, also, try to make the distortion and effects on the voice lower. You want disclaimers to be very clear, since it won't hold up if it's not clear enough to be understood.

Also, the text, and screen needs to be much, much bigger, pretty much filling the entire screen. The text is also way too small, and very difficult to read, try making it stand out from the 'static screen' background. :3

Got it, I'll lower the music, remix the voice, completely remove the tv border and make the font bigger

Music and vocals are better, however the text doesn't contrast well with the black glow. Try making the red text, white.

That's awesome, just make sure all the names are pronounced correctly, and it's all sorted. :3

Everything is pronounced correctly with the exception of "tsugumi ohba", i have yet to find the correct pronunciation for his name But its all saved, so i can change every aspect of the disclaimer later.

And I'm still thinking about adding the hawknet logo, but I'm having trouble blending it in

Here's a proof of concept i made in freebuild with chosen and ammar, the original idea is from the hawk-note ideas topic. This is basically going to provide an easy way to skip the most boring parts in death note.
