I've just been able to work on the first opening, i now have a rough copy finished. I forgot to save the file at some point and my transitions got messed up, i didn't notice this until after rendering o.o But it's fixed now so it will look better in the episode. I also can't figure out what else to do to the "presented by: hawknet computing" at the end, i tried changing the font and position of "presented by:", but something is still off about it. If you guys have any ideas, let me know :3

Maybe instead of "Presented by:", have: "Affiliated with" (without the colon). It may also be an idea to match the font, or something along those lines.

Tried andy font, still didn't look right. Also tried "Affiliated with", and that actually looked worse T-T Oh well, I'll worry about it after the ending is finished.

The font is called Venus Rising, can be gained here
The colour is a full scale gradient per two lines (so 0% and 100% (or four colours at 0%, 49%, 51% and 100% for four lines) with a 2 px black stroke. The colours used are: #4C76FE and #69D9FF.

I can't input color codes in vegas pro titler, and i cant just do it in an image editor because then i wouldn't be able to use the text effects i want. I matched the color the best i could though and it looks much better than it did, tell me what you think.

Make both parts vector based text, and we're good. You can greatly see the difference in quality between the vector text, and the pixel image. ^^
Also, you must have been able to input colour somehow (or was it purely from a multiselection interface without any input boxes?). Surely you can convert the hex colour into RGB values using online calculators.

Alright i found a way, the colors are now perfect.
However the "vector based text" went right over my head xD I did a quick google search and this seems like something i would have to do in a program like photoshop, but then i would have to export it as an image file and i would lose my text effects.

Also I'm having trouble figuring out what to put in the credits... I have the actual video done, but there are 6-8 screens that need to be filled with text. The cast list would only take up a couple screens, music would take up one, then website and server information would take up another. So that leaves at least two D: Any ideas?
Edit: Oh and I'm changing around the cast list a little, I'm removing inactive users and adding more active users in their place, also added watari as a character.
It's great. The only thing I could think of at the end slide is one of those screens where there's all the episodes/trailers and links to them on the screen in annotations...

I'm not overly keen on the pixelation. If you want to keep the pixelation try a font that is designed to be pixelated, otherwise add antialiasing to this font. ^^

Alright here is the unfinished ending.
I've been trying to finish it but i can't figure out what to put for the last 2 slides. I've exhausted the main characters, and i don't want to use anyone who was introduced in season 2 ._. Any ideas?

Try disclaimers? You can never have enough. Or a "special thanks" page to people who weren't cast members, but helped in the development of sets, or environments?

Do dramatic shots of the sun setting or something. You can never have too much dramatic scenery. Also I don't ever remember being Naomi Misora o.o Is my memory that bad?

Naomi misora is a character i added a couple days ago to balance out the cast list, i also removed inactive users from the list. Your idea is brilliant btw I have a feeling the ending will be finished today...

Oh yeah, Zion reminded me of something. You should retexture the base of the enchanting table making it look like a wooden plank. Actually, I can reskin that for you along with making the book black.

So, when I retexture the enchanting book, should I put white symbols on the cover so it looks like the legit death note? Also I'm gonna retexture the item book itself. Anything else I should retexture?

Yes definitely put white symbols on the cover. I cant think of anything but the enchantment table and book, but if you have any ideas for other objects let me know :3

Well, I haven't been able to use my PC much due to family activities and such, however, I have completed making the Death Note and have made the base of the enchanting table look like the default wooden plank. Also, should I change some of the paintings to look like monitors for episodes with the Japanese Police and L involved?

That's fine, i don't have to have them right this second. And any screens will be added later through editing, much like i did for the hawk-note preview.

Finished making the textures. Sorry, but the enchanting book doesn't have symbols on the cover because I couldn't get them to work. However, the enchanting book is black, the stand looks like the default wooden plank, and the item book has a white title on the cover.

Hey guys, I plan to start production of episode 2 in a few days, i know things have been slow, but the real world has kept me from working on this project. Right now I'm working on episode 1 r2, which will have the updated opening/ending, some new audio, and possibly new visuals for the disclaimer. it should be up in a couple days.
There is one thing i need to do to the opening before adding it to episode 1, in the part where light and L are standing on igloo's castle, I'm not happy with the camera movement, so if a couple of you could help me out on smp for a few minutes, that would be great :3

Episode 1 R2 is out, this version has the new opening/ending, removed black frames, shortened kool aid man entry, shortened classroom scene, and improved audio levels. This is basically the way i intended it to look, let me know what you guys think.
