I have a problem, whenever I try to update or Force Update, the client freezes and never downloads anything. I've tried deleting .minecraft folder and re-downloading the whole game, but it freezes. I tried to update it with AVG off and Firewall off, still freezes. Reinstall Java, still freezes. I've been searching around the internet for the solution to this stupidly annoying problem, but found nothing. Maybe someone here knows how to deal with this problem? |

Maybe the Minecraft update servers are down? |

No, after some more intense research, I've found the solution to this. I scanned for Malware and deleted all of the Adware and Spyware. This seemed to do the trick. |
