Since the new server update (1.3) I had noticed a weird bug. Every time I teleport, I end up in a weird void-like state for around 30 sec, until successfully teleporting to my destination. This didn't really bother me until recently. When I was mining, i was unfortunately killed by a skeleton, and re-spawned where I normally do. But, when I tried going /back I ended up in the void-like state again for a rather long time, with my items already put back in my inventory. Suddenly, I noticed I was falling and by that time, I had died, and all my items had been destroyed too, never to return. ( This included redstone, iron, diamond pickaxes, e.t.c) I'm not asking for my items back, all I really want is for this to stop happening. Has this happened to anyone else? Afterwards, I did some more teleporting and took a few screenshots of what keeps happening.

Can you tell me what commands you were using at the time? Also, try holding TAB and checking your connection status too. Listing the other players on at the time, and if anything was happening would be beneficial to debugging.

Unfortunately I've not experienced what you are, but then the server is literally 50cm away from me (around 50 miles over the internet though, I connect to the same IP as everyone else). Other people reporting similar issues may help. I'll have a look around Bukkit support too, see if anything else is appearing from other servers or players.

I wasn't using any commands at the time, Zion. Interestingly enough my connection is very strong (all those little green bars are filled), most likely due to the fact that I don't use wi-fi. Like I said, all I did was teleport and this is what happens, wasn't doing anything else. And to prevent questions on the orange time at the top right of the screen, it's there because of a mod I had installed, but this problem had been occurring before I installed it. Thanks for helping!

All I can say is try removing the mod. I am assuming it returns in game time and displays it. Hawknet SMP alters the speed of day time to make it 80% slower than normal, and it can usually take 20-30 seconds for a few seconds to pass in game. They might be conflicting, so I can suggest removing it, or trying to teleport at night, where the server doesn't alter the speed of time.
