i needs teh techy or belg with help with redstone wiring

i want people to drop down into the pit and onto a preasure plate which will activate a piston to block off the way out

how can i make it work? all the ways ive tryed have failed. . .




this is under ground where the redstone from picture one leads to, with a power source

tech isn't good at redstone and i would need to look at it to see what would need to be done. I know one thing though and that is that you need an RS Nor Latch.
