Since factions are peaceful, I thought a good idea for factions to show off their skill level would be to have some sort of competition among all or most of the factions. These competitions could be an organized series of mazes, archery contests, (controlled) fights, building contests, hunting, survival (facing an Enderdragon or giant pit of mobs) etc. The factions, or whoever wanted to help, could collectively build some sort of arena for all of these contests (except for mazes, of course). The reward of winning could be materials, and/or hosting the next competition if they wanted to. The material award could accumulate by all teams placing in a certain amount of materials before being able to enter. And since most of these competitions don't require everyone to be on at once, it would be easier for all the players to be able to compete. So any thoughts? |

This will help resolve any small disputes between us. I say the first "challenge" or battle be Exile v Timelords to solve the argument of who's the stronger Faction. |

The story from my perspective was this: As both Matrix and Mf are the founders/leaders of blocknet they thought that when they had joined Exile they would turn Blocknet into an Exile outpost. They informed me that hardscope was the only non-exile that lived in Blocknet. To make it fair for hards I bought his house for 50 iron bars. The next day Enderking joined and couldn't get into the chests of his house, to help him out I unclaimed his house. Later that day MF wanted to break the deal since neither Ender nor Gman could get into their houses. I said that would be fine but I wanted to be compensated for the time wasted, the resources used and the defences I added to the city. They agreed so Matrix bought back Blocknet with gold nuggets and 50 iron bars. |

What do you mean? You build a town by building houses and such together? X3 Anywho, should I make a SMP General Discussion topic about the builds we're going to need to make? and, (after we build everything) the dates of the competitions? |

We can use wool for targets, boating races on man made rivers, fights in arenas, archery range contest(who can shoot an arrow the farthest, maybe a building contest, maybe an ore hunting contest, we can hop on pigs and shoot each other with arrows, we can see who can get the most wolves and cats tamed in 1 minute, and um errr we can have a diving contest for who can jump off a ledge and land inside a barrier in the water, and....thats about it for now lol |

Also, we could have minecart race where you shoot arrows at the minecarts to destroy them. Xerox done that to me a lot as I was traveling around the Hawknet Rail system. D: |
