Hi guys.
Unlike my other post, I know that this bug applies to everyone. The bug is a spheroid thing. For example, if you try to mark off an area ,say, 25x25 square for a spheroid, when you make a spheroid, one half of it is deformed. Any size, it makes a deformed spheroid.

You can always fix it manually, it's not very hard. Only 1 or 2 sides are off by 1 block so all you have to do is add 1 more block to the off-side.

A spheroid is an elliptical shape, not a spherical one. It's height, width and length are determined by where you click to create it. If you have a 25x25 box, and place a box in the bottom left close corner, and the top right far corner, the block positions will be at <1, 1, 1> and <24, 24, 24> (hypothetically). Destroying these blocks will make a 25x25x25 sphere. Destroying one and building on or near the other will create an irregular sphere.

Other than this, I am not sure what you mean by deformed spheroid. Images will help greatly in this.

Just have to add 2 blocks to each side, but Zion just explained the maths behind the problem. He knows what you mean because I asked this one time and he replied with the same answer only I knew what he meant xD
It's not hard to do, because if you look at the 2 sides that are off, there's a 2 block gap inbetween the ends. Adding 1 more block to each side will make it symmetrical to the other. It's quite easy to fix ^.^

Yeah, a spheroid takes into account the length and width of it. Because each block is a solid block, and cannot be halved, the ideal size for it would be an odd number. Say it's 31x31, when it's created, there will be an exact centre to the spheroid, owned by one block, and that will be 15 blocks in from all sides. If it's 20x20, there is not an exact centre, and instead it will try to make four blocks the centre, being 9 blocks in from each side. It won't fully know where to put the centre though, and so may create unexpected results.

Try it again with an odd numbered grid, and see if the result differs. I will look over the code for spheroid, but it's fairly complicated and may need help from the Mathies that regular on Hawknet. ^^

O_o *Looks at Zion*
So, just choose an ODD number grid for my spheroids?

Oh yes. Although I didn't really like their Skybox playthough, and am not keen on thier Trine series either. I do like to watch their Skylands, and am looking forward to An EPIC Hatventure. :3
