When i press Shift+enter in the chat on the forums it opens a javascript blank page called javascript:void(0);

Opera is starting to ignore web standards now, which is probably why it breaks. The keyboard request Opera sends to the script does something the script doesn't like, either that or SHIFT + ENTER (or mouse click) will open things in a new tab, or replace the current window, as an Opera 'feature'.

Why do you want to SHIFT + ENTER anyway?
