There have been recent incidents relating to PVP actions that have resulted in disputes. This topic and the additional rule are here to discuss and clarify some rules to PVP in our Survival Multiplayer server.
The additional rule:
- PVP is enabled. You must not attack or kill other players without prior consent.
To clarify on this, there are additional bits of information you should know.
You
MUST NOT attack other players without prior consent. Anyone who does so knowingly forfeits their entire inventory and monetary balance to their victim at an Operator's discretion.
If you are attacked, you may defend yourself. During the defensive act, you may keep the winnings and loot from the attacker if you win. Additionally, if you loose the fight, the attacker may not keep your winnings and
MUST return them promptly. Lost experience points, unfortunately cannot be transferred, but can be compensated by enchanting items worthy of the amount.
Any attacks must be filed in the appropriate Abuse Report forum. An Operator will investigate the order of events and resolve the issue. You
MUST NOT retaliate. Doing so may forfeit your inventory and monetary balance too.
PVP arenas are allowed. Both or all parties consent to accepting attack and may offer their items or a monetary value for winning against them. Town Wars or battles must be agreed to by all participating towns before commencing the act of War.
Additionally, you
MUST NOT hire out assassins or place bounties upon other members against their will. The defending party
MUST consent to the bounty being placed on them. Responsibility is transferred to the bounty holder or hirer upon non-consented death. In this situation alone the attacker is free from punishment, but can offer a token in apology or be forced to by an Operator. All punishments must be transferred to the bounty holder or hirer.
The Spawn Point is a no PVP area. If you are being repeatedly attacked and killed, retreat to Spawn (/spawn) and call the help of an Operator.Abuse of PVP is against rules, and can see temporary or permanent dismissal from our services.
