Due to popular demand, PVP is now enabled within the server and all maps. Factions are PVP enabled (Not tested to see if members of the same faction can hurt each other, quick test is needed), and the Safezone areas are no PVP, so you can't go killing people in spawn.

Please be aware, the reason PVP was disabled in the first place was because of the abuse that some members done by repeatedly killing the same user serving no real purpose. If I find this happening again, PVP will be disabled serverwide and the killer(s) will be punished accordingly.

Im really glad that pvp is enabled now, but I was wondering if there is a way people cant hurt you. For example you could write /pvp to turn it on and then /pvp again to turn it off. I was wondering because earlier on today someone kept spam killing me every time I went /back to get my stuff

That's the precise reason why PvP was disabled. I don't believe there would be a way for a /pvp command to be enabled but Zion would probably know more.

PVP is not an on the fly thing, at least not for general users, as it's a server wide thing. Essentials supports a "per user" PVP node, which all people partaking in PVP must have in order for it to work, however there's no way to change this via commands (unless someone can find a plugin which offers the configuration to toggle permissions nodes with a command alias).

As for your issue, MF011, Gnomey6 who was spam killing you has been warned twice, however you have additionally been warned for calling him "a gay tw@" after he logged off. These will expire in a month, two months for Gnomey.

sorry I said what I said, its just he was meant to be my friend and when I asked him to stop I would have thought he would ( I asked him to stop while skyping him) and when I didn't I just got a bit annoyed.

I know, and he's been punished additionally, but we do have an Abuse Report forum for a reason, like when you were 'threatening' him by reporting him, you should have just done it. Take it as a learning experience, 'tis only one warning, and expires in a month, so play it safe and all is well.
