It's your video card. My friend had a similar problem when he played WoW.
Your machine is indeed overheating and your video card is becoming too hot. When it does that it can't function properly.
It's either time to get a new video card or prevent this one from becoming so hot.

i think i've seen it before with someone else, it might be a graphics card overheating problem
