I vote for a new map, but in the meantime I suggest that you make a back up of the map you have, then clear it and have a 100% vanilla server until the plugins get caught up. It lets people explore the new biomes and make a better decision on if they want the old map back or not.

Just my 2 cents

We have multiverse right? Set up a dual server - survival on one world, creative on the other. Many servers do it

I vote for brand new map. The changes to the biomes and landscapes will be drastic enough to warrant a completely new map, and imo would be totally worth it.

Just gives people easy access to rank information and requirements.

That kind of stuff happens with the yogbox. If you also have the easy tree cutting mod enabled, you'll notice that as you chop wood the tree will disappear for a second, then return just as fast. The server is in charge of that kind of stuff, and client side mods can do very little to affect that (b...

I don't exactly agree with the realistic day cycle. I'm in America so it's always night for me, when Zion and others in the UK would get day mostly. I think a normal 10 min/10 min is perfectly fine. It allows people to experience both day/night and mobs get spawned at a decent rate. Although I know ...

It's fine how it is, I think. I would not begrudge Zion to add even more ranks to the list, but if you ever have problems with a full server, just post it in the shoutbox on this forum. Any operator that sees it will join the server as soon as possible and remedy the situation.

Commands are only removed from ranks when they have been abused. In the case of slap, it is very easy to grief other people by just spamming that command. Unfortunately, a few architects decided to abuse it and thus got the privilege taken away from the rest of you.

The server is still able to detect interference with item degradation though. I don't think you actually need a plugin to ban that kind of mod. They simply don't work in the first place.

That's true. Or you could set the fall damage properties on the map really high. I know there is a way to do this, and all it requires is a change in the /map settings. If I remember correctly, it will send out a message saying "X fell to his death". Either that or you can recode the death...
